Little Free Pantry

Welcome to Our Little Free Pantry!

At Union Hill Church, we believe in the power of community and the importance of caring for one another. Our Little Free Pantry is a simple yet impactful initiative aimed at combating food insecurity and fostering generosity within our neighborhood.

What is the Little Free Pantry?

The Little Free Pantry is a small, open-access food pantry located on our church grounds. It serves as a resource for individuals and families who may be facing food shortages or simply need a helping hand. Our pantry operates on the principles of mutual aid, where community members can both give and take as needed.

How It Works

  • Take What You Need: If you’re in need of food or essential items, please feel free to take what you need. No questions asked—everyone is welcome!

  • Give What You Can: If you have non-perishable food items or personal care products to spare, we encourage you to donate them to the pantry. Items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, hygiene products, and baby supplies are always appreciated.

Our Mission

The Little Free Pantry is not just about providing food; it’s about building connections and supporting each other. We aim to create a safe and welcoming environment where everyone can feel dignified and cared for.

Get Involved

There are several ways you can support our Little Free Pantry:

  • Volunteer: Help us maintain the pantry by organizing donations and keeping it stocked.

  • Spread the Word: Share information about the pantry with those who might benefit from it or those who wish to contribute.

  • Pray: Keep this ministry and those it serves in your prayers as we work together to uplift our community.
