Plan A Visit
What to Expect on a Sunday Morning
We’re delighted you’re considering joining us! Here’s a snapshot of what to expect when you visit Union Hill Church:
Arrival and Welcome
Our parking lot is accessible off Union Hill Road from either East or Westbound. When you arrive, you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome in our lobby and fellowship hall. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and connect with others in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our hosts, wearing name tags, are here to help with any questions and direct the way to coffee, toddler check in, our sanctuary, or wherever you need to go.
Service Overview
Our Sunday morning service begins around 10:10 a.m. with uplifting music and the invitation to sing along. There is typically a time of prayer led by one of our pastors or leaders. There may be a time of greeting or community update to keep you informed about what's happening at Union Hill. Typically at this time we will dismiss our kids (ages pre-school through 5th grade) to our children’s class. Children are always welcome to remain in the service with us. Our pastor will then share a message from the Bible designed to help us consider how to become more like Jesus together. We respond by sharing communion (open to all) and singing a few more songs. We end with a blessing and a prayer for the week ahead. Our services typically wrap up around 11:30 am, with plenty of time to mingle and connect in the lobby and fellowship hall.
What to Wear
At Union Hill we believe you should “Come as you are.” Whether you’re in jeans and a tee or prefer something a bit dressier, you’ll fit right in. We embrace authenticity and comfort over formality.
Union Hill Kids
We offer a safe and engaging environment for children from toddlers through 5th grade during our services. Toddlers can receive care throughout the morning service. Pre-school age children through 5th graders will be dismissed during the message portion of the service to a special kid’s class led by one of our amazing teachers. Parents with infants are welcome to bring them into the service or use our dedicated infant room equipped with audio and visual feeds of the service for added comfort and privacy. Our hosts will be happy to walk you through the check-in process if you have toddlers, or help with any questions you may have.
Giving
We do not pass offering plates or bags. On occasion, we’ll have special offerings. If you’re a guest, please feel no obligation to give. Our regular attendees support the church’s mission and ministries, but your presence and belonging are what matter most to us.
We look forward to welcoming you and sharing our community with you. Whether you’re here to explore, try something new, or grow, we believe everyone belongs, and we’re excited to have you with us.
