The Mercy Team exists to reflect the heart of Jesus by offering compassion, grace, and practical support to those in need. Our goal is to serve people facing physical, financial, or emotional challenges, responding to their immediate needs and extending the love of Christ in tangible ways.
Inspired by the call in James 1:27 and 2:15-17, we are committed to showing our faith through action, caring for those in distress, and walking alongside them in their struggles. Whether it’s offering food, clothing, financial assistance, or simply a listening ear, we believe that mercy reflects the very character of God.
How We Serve
Our focus is both reactive and proactive—responding to specific needs as they arise while also seeking out ways to offer mercy and support within our church family and the surrounding community. The Mercy Team works in coordination with Life Groups and individuals to provide resources, financial assistance, and practical help when needed. We also manage the Benevolent Fund and the Little Free Pantry.
