Our History
We often say that we are a new church with a long history. We believe God is making all things new, including us; helping us grow and change to better reflect his love, grace, beauty, and character.
Union Hill Church began over 90 years ago, first meeting in a single-room schoolhouse at the corner of Union Hill Road and 208th Ave NE in Redmond. On June 6th, 1933, this fledgling community of people acquired the property and officially incorporated as a church. In 1948 we joyously joined the family of churches known as the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA). Through faith, perseverance, and a whole lot of grace, a church has continuously gathered here for over 9 decades. At times just a handful of families called Union Hill Church “home”. Today we’re a small church of 100 or so drawn together by love and pursuit, both God’s and ours.
